Their global Digitalisation programme is central to achieving that ambition, revolutionising project and service delivery by leveraging data insights, advanced digital technologies and evolving systems and processes. By enabling people and enhancing engagement, our client aspires to establish itself as a leading, data-driven organisation positioned as pioneers of the energy industry’s future.
Since 2021. Afiniti has been working hand in hand with our client. As their business change partner, we are embedded in the global Digitalisation programme, supporting them to build internal change capability whilst remaining agile and flexible to their needs. Our approach centred around a holistic, people-focused methodology that ensured successful adoption of new ways of thinking and working in an era of digital disruption. Being both strategic and hands-on, we augmented the internal team to provide tailored change interventions aligned to the company strategy and direction.
The scope included solutions such as Business Management System, Common Data Environment, Citizen Developer, CWBS & Resource Manager, Data Governance, Digital Twin, Integrated Engineering Platform, Logistics & Material Tracking, PMO, Project Portal, SAP Ariba, Siemens Teamcenter (PLM) and the Vessel Data Initiative.

Our Solution
- Provided strategic advisory, embedded into the programme Leadership team, connecting across projects and bringing experience from other industries and organisations
- Co-created the overarching global Digitalisation strategy with the client, connected to the wider company strategy and goals and including key messages and a compelling visual identity
- Built and equipped a Digital Network, from defining roles to equipping the team. Afiniti has worked with the client to develop an impressive and impactful forum
- Provided targeted change support across the portfolio of digital project, including change, communication, engagement and learning interventions
- Developed overarching learning strategy, putting focus on people and identifying opportunities to effectively deploy eLearning
- Designed, built and maintained the programme intranet hub and sub-pages for associated projects
- Established an integrated project and change management methodology and associated business change assets
- Built internal change capability by mentoring junior team members and coaching project managers
